Can you tell us a bit about your career journey before joining Future Ordering?
Before joining Future Ordering, I worked as a developer at Parajett, Avensia, Sogeti, and Trygg Hansa, where I worked on a variety of projects across different domains.
What made you choose Future Ordering over other opportunities?
There were several reasons. One was that Future Ordering has a clear vision and direction, which really appealed to me, and I wanted to be part of that journey. Another reason was my interest in working within the commerce domain where I see a lot of interesting challenges and opportunities.
I had previously worked mostly at larger companies and wanted to experience working in a smaller company. Joining Future Ordering turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made.
How would you describe your current role and what you enjoy most about it?
In my current role I work as a developer focusing on building and maintaining features that deliver value to users. What I enjoy most is solving complex problems and collaborating closely with the team to turn ideas into working solutions.
Why did you choose to work inyour field?
As a developer, I’ve always been interested in writing code. In addition to my strong and various experience and my degree in computer science, I’m also a self-taught developer and have been building my own projects since upper-secondary school. What I enjoy most about software development is the problem-solving aspect and the opportunity to create software that’s used by others.

The best part about working at Future Ordering is that you get to work with very talented people. Also, you get a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies as we are a company that strives to stay up to date with modern standards.

I’d describe the culture as respectful, highly collaborative and with astrong openness to new ideas. For example, in my team we have a meeting every other week where we can share knowledge or improvements we have discovered.

My day usually starts with a daily stand-up, where the team aligns on progress and priorities. After that, I focus on my assigned tasks, which typically involve development work, collaboration with teammates, and problem-solving throughout the day.
What advice would you give to someone joining the company?
Don’t be afraid to share your ideas and take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with new trends such as AI. Staying curious and keeping upwith industry trends is an important part of growing as a developer.
